Meet the Team
Dedicated to helping enhance the health of you, your family and our community.
Chiropractor & Founder
Dr. Chad Carter
Growing up in Northland I have always enjoyed an active outdoor lifestyle. When it came to finding a career that allowed me to continue living an active life along with serving others, chiropractic ticked all the boxes.
Having been under regular chiropractic care since I was a baby I know the benefits of long term proactive spinal health.
My mission is to educate and help other families get the most out of their health.
I take a particular interest in people who suffer from chronic long term problems as well as disc related injuries.

When I'm not in the office you can find me on my mountain bike, down by a river fishing or getting into mischief with our dog Paddy.
Chiropractor & Founder
Dr. Aidan Mollie Mahoney
Dr. Aidan is currently on maternity leave for the rest of 2023 and will be returning in mid 2024.
I'm originally from Canada and moved to New Zealand to study Chiropractic. I am an avid hiker and outdoors woman, so when it came time to find a place to reside, naturally I chose the South Island and Dunedin city.
Growing up in a family of Chiropractors and playing high level soccer, Chiropractic was my go to for prehab, rehab and that 1% edge.

I am passionate about seeing individuals and families who wish to better their health proactively.

When I'm not at the office you may find me up an unnamed mountain, down in the ocean or out walking with Paddy.
Chiropractor
Quinn Mahoney
The last name gives it away! I am Dr. Aidan's brother, coming in at number 11 in our family for chiropractors.
I have moved down from Auckland to cover Aidan while she is on maternity leave. You will find me at both Balclutha and Dunedin.

I enjoying working with people who are looking to improve their health and get more out of their life. To me Chiropractic is one of the most important things you can invest in to improve the health of your family.

When I'm not in the office you will find me exploring this beautiful region of NZ, buried in a good book or down at the local gym practicing movement.
Chiropractic Assistant - Dunedin
Michelle McFelin
I am a born and bred Dunedinite, happily married to my partner in crime and best friend.
Having spent over 25 years working in the dental world helping to serve the community I am no stranger to health care. After a few years of owning and running the local Cheesecake shop I felt it was time to return back into the health sector.
For years I had struggled with ongoing back and neck issues, regularly seeing my Chiropractor has been the most effective way of helping with these problems along with my overall health.
I love working at Otago Family Chiropractic because I get to see so many wonderful faces and watch the growth of peoples health.
When I’m not in the office you can find me, walking around our beautiful city, socialising with friends or supporting local businesses with some retail therapy.
Chiropractic Assistant - Balclutha
Darlene "Darz" Adams
Having spent many years keeping the great people of Milton looking sharp with my hair dressing business, I decided I would expand my career and help others to achieve more with their health.
I had not had much experience with Chiropractic before Otago Family Chiropractic but it now plays a big part in my health and my family's health.

I love seeing you all come in and being a part of your journey towards better health.

When I am not in the office or cutting hair you can find me out walking around the beautiful Clutha and Milton area, Aqua jogging at the local pool or down at Toko Mouth with my family (my happy place).
I also have a new addition to the family being a puppy named "Gin". You may see her at the practice from time to time.
Practice Pup
Padfoot "Paddy" Mahoney
Hi! I'm Padfoot but you can call me Paddy. I'm a rescue pup but I'm pretty sure I rescued Mum and Dad. You may see me around the practice from time to time. I'm still a puppy and sometimes forget how big I am but I love love love pats and attention........ oh and treats!

My favourite things to do are going on walks, meeting new friends and getting into mischief because then I get to use my puppy dog eyes.
